All I got were pathetic, puny little plants like the one on the left with a tiny number of flowers on a weak stalk, nothing like the plant they show in catalogs. Plant seeds when the soil is warm otherwise they will rot rather than come up. If a seed doesn't sprout within about 4 days you can be sure it rotted away. One of these years I plan to test them in poor rocky soil in a very hot spot since this must be what they get in California where they originated. |
