A four CD-set. Originally I had an LP with 29 and 33 and loved it, so much so I bought a second LP as the first one wore out. But this was the first time I'd heard the others. These are all very good, Klemperer is a master, maybe THE master of German music. The sound is not as good and bright as you get nowadays with DDD recordings BUT the sound quality also perfectly matches the style of the conducting giving you just the right atmosphere for the music, a perfect DDD version would not be as good as these old ADD recordings.
