Spanish Language Instruction

Deborah is available to tutor both beginners as well as serious students of Spanish in the Chicago area especially downtown, on the north side of Chicago and in the nearby suburbs. She tutors at public libraries such as the Harold Washington Library in downtown Chicago, the Northbrook Public Library or at businesses in the area or at her home in the Norwood Park area of Chicago. She can tutor you in areas of special interest such as business applications of Spanish or help prepare you for a job interview. Deborah makes classes more interesting by adding in elements of Hispano-American culture.

Some tutoring companies insist that their tutors can only teach by simply speaking and listening. Deborah recognizes due to her experience with teaching her husband Don (Don is a kind of a "challenging student" you might say :-) ) that some people need to see the words as they are spoken in order to learn and if you, too, need that approach she will use it.

These days people are learning through the Internet. Deborah would like to try teaching through the Internet using MSN Messenger with text, audio and webcam. Since this is an experiment the rate is $15/hour payable by PayPal.
