Most photos are 768x512 or 512x768 .jpg files, some are slightly larger because they've been cut from larger files. Many look best with a screen resolution of 640x480. Needless to say you really need 64K colors. I've enhanced the gamma value in these pictures in order to make them look more like the real location, in most programs this will not matter but in a program like ImageMagick the default is to enhance with a larger gamma value making the scene wash out. Larger files have been digitally sharpened, I was suprised how much better they look. Most of these photos were touched up when I had a Gateway vivitron (trinitron) type monitor. Alas, with a new Gateway flat panel some of them look a bit washed out.
