Dear Friends,
Since back in Mexico, we have become increasingly convinced that a regional church planting movement in this abandoned region is deeply in God's heart. 1. He surprised us with a gift of land we could have never afforded to buy. 2. Graduates of the center for church planting are maturing into church planters and pastors. 3. Freedom in Christ is arriving in waves among the women, men and youth of the church.
We thank you so much for your prayers and fiancial support. We thank many of you that sacrifice that the Gospel might be preached here in Mexico in these unreached towns. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Chris, Kathy, Samuel, Ana Luz, and Nico

LAND FOR THE CITY OF REFUGE LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION The dream of the city of refuge is close to becoming a reality. In the last letter we mentioned that the granddaughter of a former govenor of the state of Mexico visited our church having heard of our city of refuge project. She donated two acres of land to the project and agreed to sell us an additional 8 acres at a very low price. We are still in the paper work process, which in Mexico, often take a while, but we are very excited about the potential for reaching this regional with these 10 acres of land. We envision many ministries that provide refuge for this being located on this land as well as a retreat and converence center for the regional movement that is emerging. I have often heard it said that location, location, location, is the key to rea estate adquicials. This land is located exactly in the middle of the region that God has called us to fill with His glory through the Gospel. Thank you Lord Jesus, you are so good.

How is your spanish? Que honda? Should I say "Como estas?" or "Como esta?" (How are you?) Como estas" is the informal way of saying "how are you.". If you are talking to someone younger than you, use this form Como esta is the formal form. If you are talking to someone older or someone you don't know well, or with whom you want to show respect, use the formal "Como esta". Want to catch the attention of a spanish speaker in your work or nieghbor. Instead of saying "como esta" or como estas" say "Que honda" (honda is pronounces onda, with a silent h). this means Hey, what's up. It is a very common phrase in Mexico.

Regional Church Planters Conference Plants Vision For Movements
Over 70 pastors, church planters, or liders attended our regional church planters conference in Tenanicngo. The theme was "not one city will be forgotten" Bill Conard, Vice President of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Assiociation, with his wife Ruth, were the key speakers of the conference. Cristy Davis and her husband Kelly, pastors at the Immanuel Church of Gurnee, participated with Cristy's parents, Bill and Ruth, in the conference. The vision to starting church planting movements in Mexico and beyond impacted many of the pastors attending. Bill and Ruth shared from their many years of experience about living with a big vision and maintaining a healthy marraige and family. Thank you for your prayers that church planters be trained and sent from Tenancingo.

Pray for La Luz Jessy Padilla, pastor of the Iglesia Emanuel of Waukegan, led an evangelistic campaign in La, Luz Michoacan. The La Luz region is very hard to the Gospel. The poverty, and lonliness of many women and children with husband and father in Waukegan working, has required much compassion and perseverance on the part of the Pastor Jessy and the Waukegan church. Santiago and Laura Patlan, former members of the Waukegan hispanic church and graduates of the Center for church planting in Tenancingo, are the church planters now living in La Luz. Please pray for Santiago y Laura, and the many who recieved Christ in La Luz last week.
