Dear Partners,
God surprised us many times this month.
because of your prayer and donations, we live in a world of faith and you are contributing by faith....
-The City of Refuge dream is becoming a reality. I hope that you will be as excited as we were by the events of this newletter.
This happned can happen to you to.
Thank you for your prayers for the men's mission trip. We brought in a new aspect of God's Kingdom to Tenancingo. The next report will have details.

More on the City of Refuge story.
We were specifically praying, one Sunday, for two acres of land for the City of Refuge church planting project. We envision the city of refuge will provide healing for abused women and children, rehabilitaiton for alcoholics and drug addicts and, in the midst of all, a home for the Center for Church Planting (CCP). The CCP trains church planters, who will be equiped to preach, start church planting movements and, as Jesus through incarnational presence, bring salvation to the many wounded souls of this region.
The Sunday following the prayer for the land, a granddaughter of a former Mexican Govenor walked in the church,
having heard of the City of Refuge, but not knowing we were praying, and donated the 2 acres. Over a period of two months, many acres were added to the donation for purchase at a very low price - the cost being mainly the payment of back taxes. We went from 2 acres, to 6 acres, to 8 acres, to what may soon be 16 acres between donation and purchase. (Our purchase price is very, very cheap for the size of land, and location of this land, and we are still actively fund raising for the purchase.)
She told us her story. Her husband had tried to poison her, and she developed two brain tumors as a result. He had kidnapped their children and held them for a very high ransom. Having recovered her children, she came to Tenancingo to escape the possiblity of abuse.
When she subsequently had to appear in court, our youth pastor Abram went with her. The present govenor lent her his body guards to her for the day. Abram said it was like a "Law and Order" episode. They changed cars, and they went down hidden streets, all to avoid the danger of encountering her husband as he too went to court.
At first, she cried she told us the story with tears. She stood in the back of our church went in and out of our Sunday service, for a number of sundays. Then while we were praying for her, God touched her and later we found God healed the tumors. The doctors were shocked.
Then one Sunday morning she came up for prayer, she drew nearer weeping. . She was weaping. She said, "I can't resist any more. I need God. I need Jesus. I know he is real." Her life has been changed.
For years, we have prayed to be able to present the Gospel on TV in Tenancingo. The Govenor's granddaughter had the contacts and is paying for a one hour a week program of testimonies, stories of the city of Refuge and God's power.

Witchcraft Attack During Women's Freedom Weekend
|
 "Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world"
During a women's freedom weekend, two teen girls, who had apparently made a satanic convenant together, were attacked heavily by Satan.
Friday night and all day Saturday, they had heard about Jesus who heals deep emotional wounds, who forgives us for our sin, no matter what we did, and who frees us from Satanic strongholds. Our freedom weekends are filled, with much Bible teaching, prayer, worship and love from the leadership team. As they were being prayed for on Saturday evening, they began to scream at each other. Soon the leaders, prepared for this type of attack, recognized that it was not the girls' voices but those of demons objecting to the prayer and the Word of God. Then the lights went out, and it began to thunder. (Was this a coincidence since we are in the rainly season, or was this related to the attack?)
After a time of battle, it became apparent that the girls were not ready to be released the bondage of many years. Since one of the girls mothers is a witch, she had helped them endter this covenant and both had willing done so.
We believe they will be delivered. Some leaders are preparing to minister to them. Please pray with us as Jesus, who is in us, shows Himself greater than he that is in the world, Satan. Pray these girls are freed to worship the only true God.
