Women in the Tenancingo church are incarnating to heal other abused women.  The single mom's leadership team is studying family therapy in our CENTER FOR CHURCH PLANTING of Tenancingo to be more effective.   One of my weekly joys is teaching family systems counseling to these leaders who are restoring the dignity of battered women.  Last Saturday morning, one of the ladies in the class, explained her family genogram (family relational tree) to the class.  Angela, a police officer,  told of her alcoholic dad's rage, and of his consistently beating her, her mom, and brothers.  She also shared her pain and anger of never having a toy, doll, or any memory of playing as a little girl.  Mari, another leader, with tears in her eyes, said to Angela, "I feel like I want to give you a doll Angela, and play dolls with you."  Mari, then hugged Angela, and showered her with affirmations of the beautiful women she saw in Angela.  Mari and all the ladies, wept, prayed and ministered to Angela before the class ended.  These women became the hands and feet of Jesus to Angela. 

    The 70 forgotten towns that we long to see Christ born in, are filled with women like Angela.  I am hopeful that a team of courageous women are being prepared to bring healing to abused women.  These restored women will also become the hands and feet Christ to transform our region.
