I appreciate email so if you don't know what I'm talking about below write anyway. But if you can please use plain ASCII text not HTML-ized email, not rich text format, not audio files and not any other format because I use a lot of Unix tools like vi and elm and the formatting only gets in the way. Email with odd character sets like Japanese and Korean in the subject and/or email address lines gets dumped automatically.

I generally check my mail once a day except except on really busy days. If you don't get a response within a day or two something went wrong, either I did not get your mail or your mail used a bad address I could not respond to or the subject line made it look like junk mail, please try again. Some ISPs (like Earthlink) only allow their users to get email from people on their allowed email list. If your ISP does that then don't expect to get a reply from me. Recently I've had email to the following people bounce back:

Once in a while some spammers use my address, I even get some of it myself. There is nothing I can do about it.
